This is how bored the guys can get during CMSK4.

Thanks, AJ, for striking creativity into our minds.

Thanks, Yi Cong, for telling me the tissue paper goes well with the tissue paper pack picture.

Thanks, Roy/Suffian for the words.

With pain...

Tuesday, May 5, 2009 @ 2:34 PM

...comes the desire to improve oneself, and with hurt comes the desire to excel in whatever you have been hurt at.

This is for you, Ahmad.

Mindset of a winner

There are winners in this world; and there are losers. That is a fact. What makes a winner? What makes a loser? The difference lies in attitudes, outlooks, mindsets. Usually, sooner or later, you will hear the loser blaming his failures on other people or external circumstances. The mindset that blames other people or outside circumstances for its failures is a mindset programmed to lose. Why? Because it is a fatalistic mindset, a mindset that views its fate as beyond its control, at the mercy of others or outside circumstances. It is a mindset that has given up on its own powers and abilities.

Winning requires hard work, perseverance and belief in oneself. It requires character. The winner won't admit defeat. There is some self-pride involved. And some courage involved. He knows that he cannot admit defeat, that not giving up, not quitting, is a very important moral issue. That it is essential, for his own sake, that he not do it. So he stubbornly persists. He believes that all things will yield to his will with sufficient effort and persistence.

The mindset of the winner is to take responsibility for his actions, to blame himself and only himself for his failures, to believe that his destiny lies entirely within himself, rejecting any thought that his destiny is at the mercy of others or outside circumstances.

And it is this mindset that is one that is programmed to win.

All alone..

@ 12:33 AM Macs, and i have work to do. Don't feel like going home until i've finished it, because i need to hand it up tomorrow :/ I won't be able to do it at home as well, with distractions all around me :\ Hung out with Ahmad, Yongyi, Jerven and Wee Yen until 10+ in school some more. Talked about alot of stuff, and went crazy over the fitness corner. OOWH and i nearly owned myself there too :/

On a side note, i'm not that strong either, Ahmad.

...and you know what? I miss you already. Sitting all alone here, and thinking to myself -- Even though i don't know where this is going, but i still feel empty somehow, without her talking to me now (you're asleep, babe) -- you are the cutest girl i've ever seen, a talkative one at that, and somehow, just so elusive at times. Someone told me something about you today, but i still believe in you, because i'm just too trusting, and so, so gullible.

...and the damn radio in MacDonalds is playing old love songs right now.

I need to order something @ Macs... and finish my work, so i'm ending here. :P

Putting up a few random pictures for tomorrow. LOL

And here i am..

...thinking hard on what to blog. I can't think of anything! LOL.

So, here goes nothing -- Well after sending someone (halfway :P) back home, i met Ahmad, Jonathan and Zhan Jie at Bedok Interchange.

This resulted in Ahmad /ignore-ing me for the rest of the journey, Jon playing along (and thank god Zhan Jie didn't take the bus, or he probably would have joined in) and me trying to get them to talk... TO ME! LOL.

Went back home, and asked Jerven and Yongyi if they wanted to go to Macs @ Rivervale Plaza.. they agreed :X and so we ended up spending like half the entire night at MacDonalds, because of the sudden rain and us slacking around. xD

We also ended up taking shelter at YongYi's house because Jerven wanted to watch soccer at his house ("15 minutes left!"), live. :P We then proceeded to camp at his house until morning, which was when we all fell asleep under that freezing air-con of Yong Yi's, can you imagine 2 prawns (Wk, Yy) and 1 happy Jerven (<< WITH A BLANKET) in Yong Yi's room? xD

So yeah. Now i'm back home, safe and sound, and warm, LOL.

That's all for yesterday and today!
